Christine’s K-9 Treats was established in 2010 and is located in Central Maine in a town called Wales. I live with my family and 2 dogs, Mac and Zeus, and 1 cat, Charlie. My full-time job is a cardiac procedure RN in a local hospital. I am an avid animal lover and I feel strongly about being environmentally conscious.
In my free time I have been making Mac and Zeus’s treats for some time. I am consciously aware of all the food additives used these days and it is one of my main motivator for making my dog treats. As an RN, I believe that the fewer additives the better. I feel passionately about providing my dogs with healthy, all natural, no preservatives dog treats. My dogs love them! They beg for more!
For a while now I have been bringing in dog treats for my coworker’s dogs and have pawsitive feedback. I then decided to turn my hobby into a business, so Christine’s K-9 Treats was created! Christine’s K-9 Treats is licensed by the State of Maine Department of Agriculture and my treats are laboratory tested for guaranteed analysis.

Woof! My name is Mac and I am an 9 year old Golden Retriever. My Mom rescued me in 2003 and it’s been the best 8 years of my life. I’m a big fan of sticks, swimming, playing in the snow and going for Jeep rides with the top down-the ladies love the windblown look! I’m a cuddler and please keep the noise to a minimum, I really don’t like them. When I’m not at home, I like to hang out with my brother, Zeus and my friends at doggy day care. I’m a picky eater but I’m first in line for Mom’s K-9 Treats!

Woof! I’m Mac’s “little” brother Zeus. I’m a 8 year old Bernese mountain dog. My loves include food, food, and more food, especially Mom’s homemade treats. I’m definitely a momma’s boy ever since she picked me up in Pennsylvania as a puppy. I’m a very curious dog-something that got me into trouble early on. I had a little mishap with my growth plate in my right leg when I jumped from the car as a puppy, I couldn’t help it, I was so excited to see my friends at doggy daycare. My “funny” looking leg doesn’t take away from my rugged good looks though. So, as you can guess I am not a fan of the vet, but I do love the snow and short walks with Mom-after all I am her favorite but shhh don’t tell Mac.
